5 Cartoons to watch in English For Beginners
First of all, if you are reading this website right now, you'll probably learning English, I'm glad to see you here! So, let's start! But why we should start to watch cartoons, instead other things, like movies, novels, or listening radio?
The cartoons are great for learning English, because as they are made for children the language is simple, the pronunciation is clean, and it is usually slower. In addition, some drawings have repetitions that help with memorization, are short and still bring you that sweet childhood memory. The first one, it's a little familiar if were a Brazilian child, we watched that here a lot haha!

Os desenhos animados são ótimos para aprender inglês, porque, como são feitos para crianças, a linguagem é simples, a pronúncia é limpa e geralmente é mais lenta. Além disso, alguns desenhos têm repetições que ajudam na memorização, são curtos e ainda trazem aquela doce memória da infância. O primeiro, é um pouco familiar se fosse uma criança brasileira, vimos muito isso aqui haha!
1.DORA THE EXPLORER
The first episode of the series aired in 1999 but became a series regular in 2000.The cartoon has an educational character and presents the adventures of Dora and her friend the monkey Botas who often talk to the viewer and always travel helping their friends and teaching viewers to speak Spanish (English, in the dubbed versions in Portuguese) with each episode always following the same structure. This focus of a preschool cartoon with episodes in the same format and characters talking to viewers became popular, being used in many other preschool cartoons in later years.
